WHO WE ARE

“Seekhe Apni Bhasha Mein” is a social initiative to enable Indian students to learn technical subjects in their own language.
“सीखें अपनी भाषा में” का उद्देश्य है कि भारतवर्ष के विधार्थी गणित और विज्ञान जैसे विषय अपनी भाषा में ही सीख सकें।
“ಶೀಕೆ ಅಪ್ನಿ ಭಾಷಾಮೆ” ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೆ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತ ಒಂದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಅಭಿಯಾನ.

Our Mission is to Accelerate and Better the Quality of Education in India. We believe Video as a tool can help achieve mass quality education. Rather than class time being spent on monologue one-way lectures, students can watch video prior to class time and teachers should use class time to resolve students doubts and help them solve problems/do projects. This interaction among teacher and students will surely raise the quality of learning.
Though there is lot of content on the internet to help students learn Maths and Science, it primarily caters to those studying in English medium schools. Reality, however, is that a large number of schools in India are teaching using regional Indian languages as medium of instruction. Further students in small towns/villages may not have enough exposure in English to make use of the available content. Hence we’ve started on this, long yet, exciting journey of creating Maths and Science videos in various regional languages to enable Indian students to learn them in their own language.
We do realize that internet may not have made inroads to smaller towns yet. So we are going to experiment with various options like providing DVDs, pen-drives and tablets and setting up community libraries to make our content reach the students.
